FORGE PRESS

I started writing for Forge Press in my first year of university to gain some writing experience (after only writing for myself and the Teen Magazine previously). I have had some great opportunities from listening to new albums before the official release and getting my first press pass (eek).

I wanted to work within the team in my second year and also wanted to gain some social media experience. I was successful in my application for one of the social media assistant positions and now aide in making and planning social content for Forge Press. Last year, I wrote multiple articles alongside the social media assistant position, making the front page with a pitched article on the 'Wonderwall Warriors' concept when Oasis Live '25 was announced.

This year, I have made music editor for the paper and cannot wait to get stuck into the position and blow the roof of the music section.
